Casual Retail Assistants

Hull City are looking to recruit Casual Retail Assistants to join our team at Tiger Leisure, based at the MKM Stadium. The successful applicants will be required to have good customer service skills, a positive attitude and be prepared to learn new skills. Candidates should also be flexible with a willingness to work to the stores’ shift patterns.

Salary: National Minimum Wage

Closing date: 4.00pm on Friday 1st July 2022

Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming customers and advising on any enquiries regarding official Club merchandise.
  • Answering telephone inquiries.
  • Ensuring products, shelves and displays are well presented and restocked when necessary.
  • Handling payments (cash and credit card), refunds when necessary and end of day cash reconciliation, ensuring entries are accurate
  • Helping to check and accept deliveries of stock.
  • Preparing stock transfers between stores.
  • Ensuring the shop floor and store room areas remain clean and tidy.
  • Being aware of shop theft and prevention.
  • Ensuring Health & Safety regulations are adhered to.

 

Skills:

  • Must be a strong team player.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to customers.
  • Good comprehension of basic mathematics.
  • A willingness to adapt and cover extra shifts when required.
  • Previous retail experience (preferred)
